The two bands played in perfect harmony with a finale mash up of two cultural classics, Furusato and Aloha 'Oe. Unfortunately, no pictures were allowed during the performance, so the band pictures posted here are of the two bands practicing.
While the concert was a highlight of the trip, our musicians had a grand time being tourists. From learning to make their own fresh ramen to visiting temples and of course, Tokyo Disneyland. The cherry blossoms that were expected to bloom a few weeks later, decided to bloom early to welcome the Henry J. Kaiser Band to Japan.
